Amphi Neighborhood has partnered with Good Neighbor Ventures to be a  primary focus area for social and economic development.  This means we are focused on building a safer, healthier and more prosperous neighborhood. In an effort to continue to improve our neighborhood, the Amphi Community Action Group (ACAG) has been formed.

 Purpose of the ACAG:

“Bring together groups invested in the Amphi Neighborhood to identify resources and create a community voice in order to positively impact the quality of life for all Amphi residents.”

GET INVOLVED

Amphi Community Action Group Meetings:

Fourth Wednesday of every month in the library of Prince Elementary starting at 5:30 pm.

 

Amphi Neighborhood Association Meetings:

Fourth Thursday of every month at 240 W. Navajo Road (Menninger Hall) starting at 6:30pm.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD EVENTS

Movie in Amphi Park- October 19th from 5:30-8:30. Event went great! We had 55-60 people join us in the park. Check back for more great events hosted by the Amphi Community Action Group!

 

Spring Movie Night in Navajo (Amphi) Park- On May 3rd at 6:30pm, the Amphi Community Action Group will be hosting a Movie Night in the Park. The event is free and for all ages! Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair to sit on! Movie will begin at sundown!

Traffic Circle Clean-Up- November 29, 2013 @ 2pm. Group will be meeting by the traffic circle on Yavapai and Fontana.

This group consists of neighborhood leaders and residents, schools, businesses, churches, nonprofits, funders and investors of the neighborhood. Each strategy demonstrates how their collaborative effort works to empower the neighborhood.
